How much does it cost?
Swimming pool projects can range in price from 8%-12% of the value of your home. This range can include the swimming pool, patio, electrical work and fencing. A meeting with your Andrews designer will help you determine the best size, shape and features for your swimming pool project, as well as provide you with an accurate estimate for the selections you choose.

Is there a difference between gunite and vinyl liner pools?
Yes. A gunite pool offers an infinite selection of design possibilities, whereas vinyl shapes are limited. And a gunite swimming pool is the strongest pool you can install - that's why we back it with a limited lifetime structural warranty. And you can share swimming time with your pets - there are no walls or floors that can tear!

Are gunite pools more expensive?
Yes - but not by a lot. A gunite swimming pool project averages about 5% more in cost than a vinyl project.

Can I finance my swimming pool?
Yes. There are a variety of finance programs available for swimming pools. Ask your personal bank, or ask your Andrews representative for information about a program that would best meet your needs.

How long will it take to build my pool?
Drafting plans and obtaining a building permit can take 1-3 weeks - a lot depends on your local building department. Once a building permit has been received, the excavation of your swimming pool is scheduled. Upon completion of the excavated swimming pool, construction time ranges from 6-8 weeks. Remember, you're probably building your swimming pool for many years of enjoyment - not just the first year. So make the time allowances to do it right!
